     On June 19th, Interstate Insurance Management hosted a picnic at the Altoona Curve Stadium.  The Altoona Curve is a minor league baseball team and affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates.  Nearly 60 independent agents and employees of Interstate were in attendance for a fun night of baseball, food and beverages.  Dan Callahan, our company underwriter from Northland Insurance Company, joined us for the game and was honored to be able to throw out the first pitch.  Also attending was Don Siekerman from Northland’s Loss Control Department.  Although the Curve lost, it was a fun night that we hope to turn into an annual event.
